The aftermath of quitting corporate life was an identity crisis I didn’t see coming. But by allowing myself to heal, I’ve built a path of my own and welcomed a new season of growth.
I’m so grateful for your support, Mariel! I feel like you’ve been there from the start. Really, thank you 🙇♀️ and yes they’re the absolute best grounding anchor I’ve ever had!! To many more with you and our cats 😆🐈⬛🐈
Welcome to the other side, Annisa! The side I'm referring to is settling into life in a new country and way of life. I made the big transition in mid-December 2024, and it was not what I expected. But I wouldn't trade the experience for anything; it has been a good journey so far and time is kind to us all, I feel. Wishing you the very best with this new iteration of your Substack!
Thank you so much for the kind words and encouragement, Sharmila! I’m so grateful for it. And I totally agree with you that time is kind to us all -especially if we’re patient enough to wait 💙 To many more growth and evolution!
Hi Annisa! First of all congratulations 🤍 second, I deeply get the need to change direction in the newsletter and the fear of letting your readers down. I only have a tiny fraction of your following and yet feel guilty towards them for not wanting to talk about burnout anymore. But I feel I need a change too, probably more radical than yours and contemplating on creating a completely different publication 🤣😇 so best of luck to you, and I’m not going anywhere 🤍
Nicoletta!!! Thank you so much for letting me know I am NOT alone in this journey! And thank you for the kind words too 💙 I 100% understand the dilemma between writing a whole new publication vs utilizing the existing one. I personally chose to use the existing one because it marks how much I’ve grown personally and in this space on Substack. Rooting for you always and definitely not going anywhere too! Will immediately sub if and when you decide to make a new one 😁
This is what life is all about. Changing, growing, breaking, rebuilding, connecting and all the time writing about what is happening to you. Those who resonate with your new phase will stay with you, those who can’t relate anymore should be celebrating your evolution. We are all rooting for you and starting over can only happen when you are building on your past! This is awesome!
Thank you SO much for the encouragement! I was pretty nervous doing this but you are right! Life IS about changing, growing, rebuilding, and connecting or even reconnecting. So naturally this newsletter CAN change too and probably will again in the future! I appreciate you being here 😁💙 THANK YOU! I’m glad we’re connected!
This is a beautiful story. It’s beautiful that you took care of yourself and allowed yourself to sleep and love on your kitties and heal. Welcome back and I hope to see you around Substack more.
To many more 😆🫶🐈
Def staying for the next chapter 🫶 Love to hear about all the ups and downs of solopreneurship! Your cats are the cutest btw 🥹
