From designing jet engines at Rolls-Royce to decoding the mind, creating journals. Featuring Borja Tarazona, who found the courage to disappoint everyone else to finally choose himself.
I love this Borja - it takes courage to go against the grain! And here in Spain, stepping away from a well-paid, full-time job is definitely not the norm. Will check out your journal.
Thank you for this article Annisa! It was great collaborating with you. You are doing such a great job and I look forward to following your journey!! :)
Such an honor to work with you on this piece! Thank you so much for sharing your story, Borja! I believe it will encourage the right people :) rooting for you and Ara Journals!!
“I think the hardest part of having the courage to be disliked isn’t facing strangers. It’s the people who love you, not understanding why what-looks-like-a-great-life doesn’t feel like yours.” WOW that hit close to the heart ✨❤️
Yup!! That was also the part that gets me during the interview. Sometimes it’s our loved ones who needs extra convincing because they just love us too much and wants us to always be safe :) thank you for reading!
I like that positive perspective about this exact point.. there is a also an instance where the perspective is negative and your loved ones almost make you feel guilty about not feeling yourself in that seemingly perfect life… but regardless, we have to be a bit selfish ✨ in the end, it’s us who have to spend our lives in the lives we choose for ourselves!
This article was worth the wait for me. Thank you Anissa for capturing and sharing Borja’s story. I love hearing how people are finding their way towards journaling. Learning Borja’s approach to his brand of journals sounds like something I’d love to follow along.
Very cool transition. Thank you for sharing your story, Borja!
